About the Logo

Where can the logo be used?
The RC logo can be used on company information materials specifically as additional mark on company literature, letterhead, report, business card, calendars and similar collateral. Companies are also allowed to incorporate the RC logo into in-house brochures to promote RC to employees. Other uses of the logo are for corporate gifts, promotional materials, plaques and posters on offices or other facilities.
Don´ts in using the RC logo

  1. The RC logo cannot be associated with a specific product. Never put the logo on labels, drums, packages, road tankers or other vehicles and corporate literature that promote product(s).
  2. The RC logo cannot be used on applications containing an inference that Responsible Care enhances the value, effectiveness or quality of product(s).
  3. The RC logo cannot be used on technical literature where the logo is used to support or apparently confirm technical statements.

Guidelines for use:
Use of the Responsible Care Logo attests to the company’s commitment to the Responsible Care program. Responsible Care members may use the Responsible Care logo after satisfying the following requirements:
Prerequisite:
The applicant must be an active practitioner of the RC program for at least 1 year.
Applicant member-company should be in good standing in respect to SPIK and RC Council dues and assessments.

  • Accomplish an application form for the purpose.
  • Submit CEO’s Letter of Commitment.
  • Appoint a Responsible Care Coordinator. The coordinator must have attended at least 75% of all RC seminars and workshops.
  • Accomplish a Self-Assessment Questionnaire.
  • Submit annual performance and verification report (the year prior to application).

In compliance with ICCA’s guidelines, “Responsible Care” and the “hands and molecules” Logo in pantone green 347, have been registered as trademarks in the Philippines.
